Tianya Haijiao (The Ends of the Earth) is Sanya’s most famous attraction, located just 23 km southwest of the city. Known for its stunning tropical coastline, rich history, and vibrant local culture, this place is a must-visit for travelers.

The name "Tianya Haijiao" comes from two massive seaside rocks carved with the words:"Tianya" (Edge of the Sky) and "Haijiao" (Rim of the Sea). The site features five iconic rocks: Tianya Rock, Haijiao Rock, Southern Heaven Rock, Love Rock (perfect for couples!) and Rock of Blessings. Besides the scenic views, you can also enjoy beach swimming, fishing and yacht rides etc.

Phoenix Island, located off the coast of Sanya in Hainan, is a man-made marvel created by Chinese Engineers. This artificial island boasts futuristic architecture, luxury resorts and world-class yachting & cruise facilities, earning it the reputation as the "Dubai of China" and a "paradise for beach vacations"

Backed by mountains on three sides, this place has amazing ocean-mountain views. You’ve got everything for fun—water sports, beach activities, and it’s a perfect year-round vacation spot.

Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, is one of the first national 5A-level scenic spots and Buddhist-themed tourism demonstration area in Hainan, integrating Buddhist culture, tropical style and marine landscape. The zone blends diverse landscapes and cultures, featuring iconic attractions like Golden Jade Guanyin Statue, Thirty-Three Guanyin Hall and 108-meter-tall Nanshan Guanyin of the South Sea etc.

The core attraction is the 108-meter Nanshan Sea Guanyin Statue, which stands tall in the blue waves. It is hailed as a world-class Buddhist wonder for its grand scale and Buddhist philosophy.

Qilou Old Street is one of the Chinese famous historic streets, covering an area of 80,500 square meter and spanning five key streets: Bo'ai Road, Zhongshan Road, Xinhua North Road, Deshengsha, and Jiefang Road. The oldest building, Sipai Building, dates back some 600 years to the Southern Song Dynasty.

The Qilou Old Street owes their development to booming sea trade and shipping. Buildings are usually 2-4 stories tall, with a unique design: The ground floor is set back to make space for shaded storefronts and the upper floors extend over the sidewalk, serve as living spaces. The European (Renaissance/Roman/Baroque), Nanyang, and traditional Chinese architectural elements help shape these unique Qilou buildings.
